These discs are typically used for paint or coating removal. The disc is an open-web construction impregnated with silicon carbide to provide aggressive and long-lasting performance. The extremely durable, three-dimensional web has a soft edge, allowing it to remove paint and other coatings in those unreachable creases and dents while removing very little metal. A Great for stripping paint without damaging metal especially on aluminum.

Mounted on a depressed center backing plate. Use when grinding on flat or convex surfaces when removing rust or paint. It will not distort or disturb the metal. Use on angle grinders.
