Pink- Used in almost every industry but primarily in tool and die shops, and foundries. General applications: Deburring, tool sharpening, finishing cavities, and removing mold marks and parting lines. The semi-friable pink PA abrasive is used to produce shark, consistent cutting action. Typically is a medium (O thru Q) hardness stock.

- (1) A1P – Pink ¾”x 2-1/2”
- (1) A12P – Pink 11/16” x 1-1/4”
- (1) A38P – Pink 1” x 1”
- (1) W178P – Pink 3/8” x 1”
- (1) W188P – Pink ½” x 1-1/2”
Shark mounted points are made of high quality, vitrified resin-bonded grains. Typical applications include blending contours, deburring molded parts and mold finishing, ID grinding, offhand bench grinding, and tool and die applications. All mounted points are sold separately or in various assortments.
Choose vitrified mounted points from Shark to keep on hand in your foundry, machine shop, toolroom, or garage. Mounted Points can be useful in blending tools and dies, deburring and enlarging holes and other operations that involve removal of excess material. All mounted on ¼” diameter by 1-1/2” long shanks and are made of aluminum oxide.
