Molded, abrasive-filled bristle™ “fingers” strip, deburr, blend, finish, polish, clean, and remove coatings more effectively than wire brushes. The abrasive grain blend provides a high-quality finish throughout the life of the disc. The grain is embedded in the bristles™ and as the plastic breaks down, new abrasive is exposed. The spacing of the bristle™ fingers is ideal for coating removal and working on other high-loaded substances. Flexible fingers conform to contours to produce consistent finishes, even on irregular parts. Shark carries specially made Twist-to-Lock backing pads designed specifically for vulnerable plastic “R” backings.
